Denghu Middle School held a week-long 3rd English Culture Festival, during which singing a song, guessing with drums, I say my way, reading and enjoying beautiful literature, cosplay English garden activities, textbook drama performances, and invited students of all grades to actively participate in a variety of activities to feel the charm of English and bloom youthful vitality.
Mr. Zhang Boling, a famous educator, once said: "Drama is the epitome of life, and the rehearsals on the stage can enable the performers to gain an understanding of life." To this end, at the English Festival, the seventh grade of Dengzhong carried out the theme evening activity of "Class Textbook Drama Performance", so as to enrich the students' campus cultural and artistic life and enhance the students' English subject heritage. From the selection of plays and casting to the recitation of words, from the experience to the expression and interpretation, the students either focus on the role in front of the screen and figure out the meaning, or conceive and guide behind the scenes, and constantly improve. Under the rendering of youthful passion, ideas collide with the script. The plot of the drama is full of ups and downs, the actors' spoken English is clear and fluent, and their eyes, expressions, and movements are in place, and the performances are vivid. The stage soundtrack, lighting, props, screens and curtains are perfectly combined and complemented by the actors' performances, creating a fascinating stage scene that highlights the positive spirit of the students.
In order to encourage students to show their English talents, the seventh grade also held an English talent show, in which students fully demonstrated their versatile personal qualities through singing, rapping, singing and dancing, cross talk, sketches, storytelling, English explanation and magic, English talk shows, English tongue twisters, etc.
The 8th grade garden tour set off the climax of the English cultural festival. With the development of special activities, there has already been a strong "Disney style" and "anime style" among the children, and the "cosplay garden activity" has filled the expectations. On the day of the event, the children dressed up as their favorite cartoon characters early, including Harry Potter, Marvel heroes, Mulan, Princess Elsa, etc., they shuttled between the dazzling stalls, felt the infinite vitality of the campus and the charm of English culture, and were also amazed by the fluent English communication skills and extraordinary thinking skills of the students.

Hand-painted English bookmarks, writing the feelings of family and country. In order to strengthen national pride and national self-confidence, the seventh and eighth grades also held an English greeting card and bookmark making competition with the theme of "Let's Wish". Through exquisite painting style and careful design, the students showed a piece of work that embodies aura and wisdom.
