Preface
Once upon a time, my concept of home was just a warm harbor, a shelter that could shelter from the wind and rain. However, as I grew older, I realized that home is not just a place to live, it is a reflection of personal taste, a place for the soul. At the age of 30, I welcomed my new Chinese home, which not only awakened my pursuit of beauty, but also made me fall in love with this calm and high-end style.
First impressions of home
My home, with a construction area of 137 square meters and a layout of three bedrooms and two living rooms, did not carry out major demolition and modification of the layout at the beginning of the renovation, but chose to retain its original structure. I chose the new Chinese style, which retains the classical charm of Chinese style without losing the modern simplicity and fashion.
The interweaving of colors and materials
In terms of color selection, I use light gray, white and wood colors as the main colors to create a calm and warm home atmosphere. The light-coloured floor tiles on the floor are softly lit by the lighting, while the walls are combined with latex paint and wallpaper to ensure environmental friendliness and add depth to the space.
In terms of soft furnishings, I made extensive use of log elements to make the whole space more warm. The embellishment of Chinese elements such as ink painting screens, greenery and pottery ornaments adds a quiet and natural atmosphere to the home. These elements complement the light tones of the overall space, creating a calm and high-class home environment.
The flow and separation of space
In terms of the layout of the space, I strive to maintain a sense of wholeness while also paying attention to the division of various functional areas. The living room, dining room, bedroom and study are separate, yet echo each other, creating a harmonious and unified aesthetic.
Oriental aesthetics in the living room
As the living room is the core area of the home, I chose a wooden sofa as the protagonist, with soft cushions and backrests, which make people feel the warmth and comfort of home. Behind the sofa is a delicate landscape painting screen, showing the texture and charm of Chinese aesthetics. When night falls, the light strip embedded in the recess on the top surface glows softly, adding warmth and tranquility to the whole space.
The poetic life of the restaurant
The restaurant is cleverly divided into two areas: a dining area and an open tea room. This layout not only satisfies the needs of daily dining, but also provides an elegant space for family and friends to enjoy tea and discussions. The circular ceiling at the top echoes the dining table below, adding a sense of comfort to the entire dining room.
Quiet time in the study
The study is one of my favorite spaces. The open shelves against the wall are filled with my collection of books and ornaments, and in the middle is a long wooden desk that can accommodate four people working or studying at the same time. Whenever night falls, I spend some quiet reading time here.
epilogue
This 137-square-meter new Chinese-style home not only meets my living needs, but also becomes the home of my soul. Here, I felt the calm and high-end home aesthetics, and also experienced the poetry and distant romantic feelings. At the age of 30, my aesthetics have awakened, and I love my new Chinese home more and more.
