In order to deepen the integration of sports and education, promote the development of youth basketball, and enrich campus sports activities, on the morning of April 19, the 2024 Longan County Primary and Secondary School Student Basketball Competition (Middle School Group) hosted by the Longan County Education Bureau ended successfully at the Longan County Youth Extracurricular Activity Center, attracting a total of 27 teams from 14 junior high schools in the county and 4 teams from high schools and vocational schools.
The competition is divided into junior high school boys' group, junior high school girls' group, and high school boys' group. In the junior high school men's and women's finals, the players were full of firepower, serving, passing, shooting, and fast breaking...... Every ball counts. The players cooperate closely, work tenaciously, fight for me, both sides have won the applause of the audience with superb ball skills and win-win team spirit, and the shouts and cheers are also one after another, and the atmosphere is very warm.
After intense competition, the women's basketball team of Longan County No. 3 Middle School won the first place in the junior high school women's group, and the men's basketball team of Longan County Experimental Middle School won the first place in the junior high school men's group. Through the game, the players exchanged feelings, enhanced friendship, and fully demonstrated the spirit of the county's middle school students who love life, sports, unity and struggle. The participating players said that they should continue to maintain and carry forward the sportsmanship in the arena and work the field of learning.
Nong Xintong, member of the women's basketball team of Longan County No. 3 Middle School: The most important thing to win this competition is to thank my teammates and coaches, their dedication and encouragement are the reasons for winning. If I can still join the basketball team next year, I will continue to work hard to achieve another great year. I will use the strength of playing basketball to study and live, and I will not give up or retreat when I encounter setbacks.
Zhou Yu, a member of the men's basketball team of Longan County Experimental Middle School: This is a team victory, we have played the level of training we usually have, I am very happy to win this championship, I think the coach is very hard, thank him for leading us to the finals, and thank my teammates for their tenacious struggle. I will transfer the spirit on the court to studying, tenacious and persistent.
Li Qinghao, a member of the men's basketball team of Longan County Experimental Middle School: Through this competition, I realized my own shortcomings and saw the strengths of other teams. Next, I will learn from each other's strengths and weaknesses to improve myself better.
