The Mobile Photography Awards (MPA), together with the iPhone Photography Contest, has always been favored by many mobile photography enthusiasts as the longest-running competition for photos taken and edited on mobile phones and tablets.
The award was first held in 2011, and in addition to the annual competition (October-December), there will also be themed exhibitions and international open calls throughout the year. MPA's annual winners are selected by a jury of photography professionals, journalists, teachers, artists, and leaders in photography, mobile photography, and the arts. The awards are divided into 14 categories, including "Architecture/Still Life", "Natural Landscape/Wildlife", "Portrait", "Street Photography" and many more.
If legendary street photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson said that "our first 10,000 photos will be our worst" is true, then it's safe to say that mobile photography gives people a historic opportunity to practice more, to progress, to surpass, and to reach our 10,001st photo sooner. The MPA is a showcase for photographers and artists who embraced this defining moment.
The winners of the 13th MPA 2023 were announced last month, so let's take a look at the winners in the "Architecture" category.
