Case 1
On April 13 this year, a fire broke out in a woodland located at the east gate of Anjialou Village, Jiangtai Township, Chaoyang District, Beijing. After on-site verification, it was found that the catkins in the forest land were ignited and fired, igniting the surrounding weeds and other combustibles, and burning some trees in the forest land.
Investigators from the Chaoyang District Fire and Rescue Detachment and the Jiangtai Police Station of the Chaoyang Public Security Bureau found that at about 13:30 on the same day, when the man Yan Moumou was smoking in the woodland, he used a lighter to ignite the catkins and caused a fire.

After being questioned by investigators from the fire and rescue detachment and the public security police station, Yan Moumou confessed to his act of igniting the catkins in the woodland and causing the fire. In accordance with the provisions of Article 64 (2) of the Fire Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, the public security organs decided to give Yan XX a punishment of 10 days of administrative detention.
Case 2
Two years ago, a man in Jinan, Shandong Province, was allergic to flying flotsam, and ignited the flying flotsam in a fit of anger, and the fire spread rapidly, and two private cars and a number of scrap vehicles were burned. During the examination, the man confessed to the crime of arson, and was later subjected to criminal coercive measures.
Case 3
Also the year before last, a woman in Huai'an, Jiangsu Province, lit a "poplar hair" to clean up the garbage, and when she saw that the open flame was gone, only the smoke was rising, so she left. Unexpectedly, the catkins that were not completely extinguished ignited the warehouse containing liquor, and the fire grew larger, and after dialing 119, firefighters arrived at the scene and quickly extinguished it.
