In order to further improve the emergency mechanism, improve the fire safety awareness of municipal sanitation workers and the ability to deal with emergencies, the municipal sanitation center and Chongqing Street Fire and Rescue Station jointly carried out fire emergency drills in the courtyard of the urban operation company of China Construction Fifth Bureau.
This drill is mainly based on fire emergency drills and the use and operation of fire extinguishing equipment. The main purpose is to test the familiarity of all employees with the emergency plan, the proficiency in the use and deployment of fire extinguishers, and at the same time to further strengthen the ability to link with the local fire protection, and improve the emergency rescue ability and overall quality of all employees. During the drill, the staff of the local fire rescue station first explained in detail the types of fires, the identification, inspection, maintenance and correct use of fire extinguishers, and the emergency response measures for sudden fire accidents, and then conducted practical drills on how to use fire extinguishers correctly. After the staff ignited the fire source prepared in advance, they practiced the use of fire extinguishers on the spot, and all the trainees actually operated the fire extinguishers in turn, extinguished the initial fire in time, and mastered the skills of using fire extinguishers.
Through this fire emergency drill, employees are familiar with and master the fire emergency rescue process, improve the ability to use fire equipment correctly, improve the command and disposal ability of enterprise employees to deal with emergencies, and also make the awareness of safety and fire protection deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and the drill has achieved the expected results, laying the foundation for the efficient and orderly development of safety production work in the future.
