Recently, the source @i Ice Universe tweeted on the X platform, commenting on Samsung's industry's first 10.7Gbps LPDDR5X DRAM content, saying that the Galaxy S25 base phone to be released next year will still start with 8GB of RAM.
Nowadays, the memory of mobile phones in China basically starts at 12GB, and there are even many models that have launched 24GB. If the S25 continues to start with 8GB of RAM, as the leaks say, then it will definitely be less attractive to consumers in 2025.
In addition to the memory, there are also leaks mentioning the size information of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. According to source yeux1122, the S25 base model may increase its screen size to 6.36 inches. For reference, the current S24 base model is 6.2 inches.
Although the size has increased, 6.36 inches can still be considered a small screen, for example, the Xiaomi 14 is 6.36 inches. At the same time, the next-generation Plus and Ultra models are likely to be further amplified, which are currently 6.7-inch and 6.8-inch respectively.
And in terms of exterior design, another source, PandaFlash, has exposed the prototypes of 4 Galaxy S25 Ultras that are being tested in-house.
Specifically, the main variation of Prototype 1 has a slightly narrowed border, Prototype 2 has a right-angled side edge + four very narrow borders, Prototype 3 has a narrowed left and right border, and Prototype 4 has a curved border + four narrow borders. Judging by the pictures, these four prototypes bring very limited changes compared to the current Galaxy S24 Ultra.
