On the afternoon of April 19, the "Walk into Hongkou" of entrepreneurs of the Democratic League and the 2024 spring special event for the joint recruitment of college graduates in large and medium-sized cities in Hongkou District were held at the Hongkou Football Stadium. Chen Qun, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic League, vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and chairman of the Municipal Committee of the Democratic League, and Li Qian, secretary of the district party committee, attended the event and delivered speeches.
Employment is the "barometer" of economic development and the basic work for ensuring and improving people's livelihood. The special recruitment activity of the Municipal Committee of the Democratic League aims to encourage entrepreneurs of the Democratic League to inherit and carry forward the fine tradition of "running for the country's interests and paying attention to people's livelihood", promote high-quality and full employment of college graduates, and boost high-quality economic and social development. This is the first time this year that the Municipal Committee of the Democratic League has held a recruitment event in the central urban area.

At the meeting, Chen Shiyan, CEO of Shanghai Yingyan Culture Media Co., Ltd., and Chen Jialai, CEO of Shanghai Retrobounce Information Technology Co., Ltd., made exchange speeches as representatives of entrepreneurs of the Democratic League, and representatives of five enterprises signed labor contracts with job seekers. After the meeting, the participating leaders came to the site of the 2024 spring recruitment activity for college graduates in large and medium-sized cities in Hongkou District to conduct field research.
It is reported that about 100 enterprises were jointly organized by the Shanghai Entrepreneur Federation of the Democratic League and Hongkou District, providing more than 2,000 jobs for fresh graduates from various colleges and universities. It is worth mentioning that nearly ninety percent of the alliance member companies participating in the recruitment are "top leaders" and communicate directly with job seekers face-to-face. A special "live broadcast with posts" area was also set up on the site, so that job seekers who could not come could also learn about recruitment information through live broadcast.
