This officer corps is the officers left over from the breakout and escape of Sun Yuanliang's corps, and it is temporarily organized here, with more than 600 people. This prisoner was a regimental servant of the enemy's officer corps, who came out to relieve his stool. He told Guo Yugui:

The deputy commander of the enemy regiment was so frightened that he immediately raised his hands and shouted: "Don't shoot the People's Liberation Army, I surrender, I surrender!"
Guo Yugui ordered: "Immediately order the gathering of troops, lay down their weapons and surrender!"
The deputy head of the enemy nodded and bowed: "I will execute, I will execute!"
Guo Yugui collected his weapon and escorted him out of the bunker. The enemy's deputy regiment commander immediately ordered: "Heralds, blow the whistle, assemble!"
After blowing the whistle, the enemy herald shouted at the bunker farther away: "Assemble, assemble!"
The enemy officers came out of the bunkers around them one after another and ran to the open space in front of the bunker at the regimental headquarters to form a formation. At this time, Guo Yugui stepped forward and pretended to shout loudly: "1 Company, 2 Company, 3 Company, machine guns and grenades are ready!"

After the war, Guo Yugui was awarded the title of "Second-Class People's Hero" by the Fourth Column, and in early April, he attended the Huaihai Battle Celebration Conference held in Taizhou.
