On the evening of April 19, China Telecom released its March operating data, with a penetration rate of nearly 80% for 5G package users.
According to the announcement, as of the end of March this year, China Telecom's mobile subscribers reached 412 million, a net increase of 1.91 million in the month and a net increase of 3.88 million in the first three months. China Telecom's 5G package users reached 329 million, with a net increase of 4.66 million in the month and a net increase of 10.06 million in the first three months. The penetration rate of 5G package users reached 79.9%, a net increase of 0.8 percentage points from the previous month and a net increase of 1.7 percentage points in the first three months. China Telecom's fixed-line broadband subscribers reached 192 million, with a net increase of 590,000 in the month and a net increase of 2.06 million in the first three months. China Telecom's fixed telephone subscribers reached 100 million, a net decrease of 300,000 in the month and a net decrease of 760,000 in the first three months.
