After the administrative research and decision of the Central School of Zhongdu Town, Pingshan County, an earthquake escape drill for boarding students was carried out on the evening of April 17, 2024.
At 20:10, the alarm sounded on the campus, with the rapid alarm, the students bent over with their heads in their hands and left the dormitory in a safe and orderly manner, and arrived at the school's pre-set escape and evacuation place, it took only 1 minute and 21 seconds for all the teachers, students and staff of the central school in Zhongdu Town, Pingshan County, to quickly evacuate from the classroom to the designated safety point (on the playground).
Li Hengqi, vice principal in charge of safety at Zhongdu Town Central School in Pingshan County, summarized the drill. First, all the teachers and staff can perform their duties and quickly arrive at the designated place to be responsible for the evacuation of students; second, the students also fully applied the earthquake escape knowledge that the teacher usually talks about to the drill, and actively cooperate with the teacher's command to evacuate to the designated place quickly, orderly and safely. At the same time, there are also some problems in this exercise, and I hope to correct them in the next exercise. The first is that some students are not sensitive enough, and most of the students have already begun to evacuate, and he is still at a loss and does not respond; second, there are some students who play and make trouble, and do not pay close attention to it.
