There are two reasons why we shouldn't take the world too seriously. First, the earthly world is false and full of illusions. Second, if we attach too much importance to the world, we will inevitably be burdened by it, lose ourselves, and delay more important things. The distinguishing feature of the earthly world is that the more you cling to something, the more it can hurt you. Whether material or human, without exception. What we should value most is the mission of life, that is, to plan for our future life.
The world is unpredictable and unpredictable. As the saying goes, "Those who play with eagles will eventually be pecked by eagles, and those who play with knives will eventually be wounded by knives." Sometimes, the more you care about something, the more it hurts you. Some parents take care of their children in every possible way, but in the end they are injured by their children, and some people even lose their lives for the sake of their children. In the same way, there are people who value money so much that they end up dying because of it. None of those who value this world is happy.
There is a couplet that is well written: "The insight of the world is all knowledge, and the practice of human feelings is the article." Indeed, there is nothing more insightful than knowing how to be grateful, and being virtuous is nothing more than sticking to the bottom line. If you are ungrateful, treacherous, then everything you have can become a weapon to hurt yourself. Throughout the ages, how many of those who have been powerful and wealthy have died well? And these people will have a harder time in the afterlife, because they are subject to stricter reckoning.
Life is a few decades and fleeting. No matter how much wealth and power you have, at the end of your life, it will become meaningless. Unless you are strong in your faith and you do what you have to do, you are sad. The Merciful Lord said: "Give them a parable: Life in this world is like me raining down from the sky, whereby the plants of the earth flourish and then wither and drift away with the wind." The Lord is all-powerful for all things. ”（18：45）
