Baiya Qilan is the second most important agricultural cash crop in Pinghe County, Zhangzhou in addition to pomelo, the current planting area of the county is about 60,000 mu, the annual output value of 2 billion yuan, is the most Zhangzhou local characteristics of the native tea. In recent years, the local ecological planting has been highlighted, the quality of tea has been improved, the overall level of tea making has been improved, and new competitive advantages have been created while consolidating the status of the traditional tea industry, such as trying to integrate tea with pomelo flowers, cultivating new tea categories, and giving full play to the synergistic effect of "1+1>2".
At the event, Fujian Qilan Tea Wanggu Tea Industry Co., Ltd. signed an agreement of intent to cooperate with Damin Food Technology Co., Ltd., Nanhu Village Committee signed a village-enterprise cooperation agreement with Yunshan Green Tea Co., Ltd., Pengxi Village Committee and Shangpinxiang Enterprise, and rural credit cooperatives signed an agreement with the township government to extend a credit of 500 million yuan to help farmers.
"As the birthplace of Baiya Qilan tea, in the past few years, Qiling Township has given full play to the advantages of origin, continued to expand and improve the tea industry, and further opened up tea sales channels through the help of rural sages, accelerated the promotion of the tea industry to become a strong village and rich industry, and stimulated the 'self-hematopoiesis' function of rural revitalization. Lin Zhikun, Secretary of the Party Committee of Qiling Township, said happily that in recent years, the township Baiya Qilan tea sales "price and sales are stable", among them, the purchase price of spring tea is rising by 10% ~ 20% on average every year, and the purchase price of spring tea is expected to increase by 30% ~ 50% year-on-year this year, and the per capita income of tea farmers is expected to increase by 2000-3000 yuan.
In the next step, Qiling Township will take this mining festival as an opportunity to continuously improve the competitiveness and influence of the Baiya Qilan tea industry, continue to expand and strengthen the business card of Pinghe Baiya Qilan, vigorously develop the Pinghe Baiya Qilan tea industry, and strive to realize the upgrading of the industry.
