The "Online Literature IP Micro-short Drama Creation Support Project Conference" was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province on April 18, focusing on promoting the mutual empowerment of the online literature and micro-short drama industries and creating online audio-visual boutiques.
According to reports, online micro-short dramas have become an emerging cultural format in the Internet era, and they are also a vital force to promote the overseas dissemination of Chinese culture, and online literature bears the important task of providing high-quality content for micro-short dramas. This time, a total of 50 projects were selected for the China Writers Association's micro-short drama creation support plan, covering five categories of themes, including people's better life, scientific and technological innovation and science fiction.
Hu Bangsheng, member of the party group and secretary of the Secretariat of the Chinese Writers Association, said that online literature should provide high-quality content for online micro-short dramas and enhance the spiritual connotation and cultural taste of audio-visual products. He called on all parties to strengthen the protection of copyright and the rights and interests of writers, cherish development opportunities, maintain the reputation of the industry, and jointly create a good online cultural ecology.
After the press conference, the China Writers Association organized online writers, heads of online literature platforms and audio-visual platforms as representatives to jointly issue the "Proposal for Improving the Transformation Quality of Online Literary Micro-short Dramas", putting forward seven proposals from the aspects of creative orientation, international vision, and copyright protection to guide the healthy and orderly development of the online micro-short drama industry.
