On April 18, the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress held a symposium to investigate the Municipal People's Government's implementation of the "Eighth Five-Year Plan" to promote the popularization of law and the work of left-behind elderly and left-behind children.
The meeting stressed that all departments should continuously improve their ideological understanding, achieve the goal of popularizing the law in the Eighth Five-Year Plan with stricter standards, speed up the construction and improvement of a new model of popularizing the law at the same time, and create a strong atmosphere of advocating the legal system.
The meeting required that we should highlight the problem-oriented and demand-oriented, and establish a list of needs and care services for left-behind children and the elderly in combination with the actual situation. It is necessary to give full play to the mechanism of the joint work conference to promote the formation of a work pattern of caring for the left-behind elderly, left-behind children and children in difficult circumstances led by the party and government, coordinated by the masses, and participated by all sectors of society.
