Malicious Intent is a mature, delicately paced action role-playing game (ARPG). The battles in the game are intense and brutal, and the world is extremely detailed. Item-crafting features and customization systems allow you to create unique equipment and homes with the help of the game's artisans. With a deep storyline and a diverse cast of characters, Bad Faith will tell the story in Moon Studios' signature oil painting-style visual aesthetic. After the success of two critically acclaimed award-winning titles, Elves and the Forest, and Elves and the Will of the Fireflies, this game will be a bold attempt for Moon in a different field.

The launch trailer for Bad Faith is an invitation to a one-of-a-kind, thrilling action RPG experience with a unique pictorial world of precision and deadly moves, which is covered in a bloody layer of blood. Check it out here: [link to release trailer].

"Bad Faith is a bold move for all of us at Moon Studios, and we're excited to finally share this with the world in Early Access. Thomas Mahler, co-founder and creative director of Moon Studios. "As die-hard fans of action role-playing games, this project is our full heart. We're committed to pushing the boundaries of the genre and giving players the most memorable gaming experience. We're not just using Bad Faith to create one of the many action RPGs. Our goal is to redefine the genre and create something truly unique and memorable. We're trying to push the boundaries of gaming and challenge ourselves to create a gaming experience like no other. ”

The precise combat system of Bad Faith is a new step forward in the art of combat from Moon Studios. The combat in Bad Faith is action-driven, intuitive and intense, allowing skilled players to unleash more intense and deadly moves. In Bad Faith, players need to use skill and timing to complete the battle. This innovative combat system makes for a particularly satisfying gaming experience, setting it apart from isometric action RPGs where only the "slam the buttons" are required.

In addition, the way you fight is a catalyst for players to create a unique class identity. Each weapon has a unique move that can be further enhanced with runes, weapon upgrades, and many other ways. Players are not bound by a rigid class structure, but can freely shape their character through custom equipment, enhancements, modifications, and special abilities.

"Over the past six years, we've worked hard to create action RPGs that take the gaming experience to the next level, and we hope this game will push the genre forward. Gennadiy Korol, co-founder and director of technology and production at Moon Studios, said. "The Early Access launch of Bad Faith is a huge achievement for our team and marks the beginning of a new chapter in our company's journey towards 1.0. We are very much looking forward to seeing everyone's reactions, and we are committed to the long-term development and operation of this project." We're constantly expanding and refining the game to perfection, while also carefully researching and taking into account player feedback. ”

The painting-like art style and brutal battles of Bad Faith are elevated by its dark, mature narrative. The story is set in the year 841, when King Harol Boleyn dies and the kingdom ushers in a critical moment. An otherwise peaceful change of power descends into chaos, triggering a disastrous conflict. And in a time of political turmoil, a deadly plague returns to the remote island of the Holy Land, wreaking havoc on the land, twisting its inhabitants into monsters. Players are drawn into this struggle and are forced to take up arms against the monstrous beasts, repel the kingdom's invading armies, and find their way through this turbulent undercurrent - however, each direction drags our protagonist deeper into this chaotic maelstrom.

Paul Berry, Lead Producer of Bad Faith, said: "The work done by Moon Studios in Early Access is amazing, showcasing exceptional artistry and technology. "Private Division is thrilled to be working with a team of our calibre Moon Studios to further revolutionize the action RPG genre and embark on an exciting journey to make this game. ”

"Malicious Spirit" is ready for major content expansion before the official release of version 1.0. The game's first update introduces an innovative multiplayer mode, allowing players to explore in teams as well as one-on-one battles in PvP battles. The second update of the game will include important expansions to the game world, including new characters and storylines, with more to come. More exciting updates will be released for "Malicious Spirit", so stay tuned.

Malicious Intent is currently in development and launches in Early Access on Steam today, April 18, 2024. The full version for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC is scheduled to be released some time after the end of Early Access. "Bad Faith" has an ESRB rating of M.
