In the past few days, the Aksu Prefecture Fire and Rescue Detachment has actively cooperated with the education department, focusing on schools, kindergartens, and off-campus training institutions, to carry out a special rectification action of "breaking windows and nets" throughout the region, and rectifying and dismantling obstacles such as anti-theft nets and iron fences that affect escape and fire fighting and rescue.
During the operation, the Aksu Prefecture Fire and Rescue Detachment and the Education Department set up a joint inspection team, and successively went to the No. 2 Middle School in Aksu Prefecture, the No. 10 Primary School in Kuqa City, the No. 2 Middle School in Awati County, the No. 5 Middle School in Baicheng County, the No. 1 Primary School in Xinhe County, and the Central Primary School in Achar Town, Keping County, and other schools and off-campus training institutions to comprehensively investigate the anti-theft windows (nets), iron fences and other obstacles that affect the safe evacuation passage and the fire rescue passage.
Fire law enforcement personnel to the school safety person in charge of publicity anti-theft windows, protective nets, iron fences and other hazards that obstruct escape routes and affect fire fighting and rescue, popularize relevant laws and regulations, clarify risks and hidden dangers, work requirements, explain the responsibility of measures, on-site guidance to the school to cut and dismantle the anti-theft net, keep an eye on the safety of on-site personnel and construction operations, monitor and deal with the factors that may cause fire safety accidents in the demolition operation, and avoid the occurrence of safety accidents.
It is understood that a total of 407 schools were inspected in this operation, and 18,187 iron fences and anti-theft nets were set up in violation of regulations, totaling 61,027.45 square meters.
