Today (19th), the reporter learned from the Supreme People's Procuratorate that the case of Wang Yongsheng, former member of the Party Committee and vice president of the China Development Bank, who was suspected of accepting bribes, was investigated by the State Supervision Commission and designated by the Supreme People's Procuratorate to be examined and prosecuted by the People's Procuratorate of Jilin City, Jilin Province. Recently, the Jilin Municipal People's Procuratorate has filed a public prosecution with the Jilin Intermediate People's Court.

During the examination for prosecution stage, the procuratorate informed the defendant Wang Yongsheng of his procedural rights in accordance with the law, interrogated the defendant Wang Yongsheng, and listened to the defender's opinions. The procuratorate's indictment alleges: Defendant Wang Yongsheng took advantage of his position as secretary of the party committee and president of the Liaoning branch of the China Development Bank, member of the party committee and vice president of the China Development Bank, and other positions, as well as the convenience of his own authority or position, to provide assistance to others in matters such as loan financing, bond purchases, and personnel arrangements, and illegally accepted property from others, the amount of which was particularly huge, and he should be investigated for criminal responsibility for the crime of accepting bribes in accordance with law.
