When it comes to medium and large sedan electric vehicles, I believe that those who are familiar with cars will immediately think of the new BYD Han, right?

Strictly speaking, BYD Han is the first independent model to break the ceiling of 200,000 yuan of its own brand, and its sales in the field of medium and large sedans have been high, so the major car companies often use BYD Han as a competitor when releasing medium and large sedans.

In March this year, Hongqi released the new Hongqi EH7, although it has been listed, but there are basically not too many models to visit in major dealer stores, so this time FAW Hongqi directly put this Hongqi EH7 on the stage of the Beijing Auto Show, so that consumers can enjoy it up close.

Let's talk about the price first, this Hongqi EH7 has launched a total of five different configurations, with a guide price of 229,800-309,800 yuan. At first glance, the price of the new car is indeed a little more expensive than that of the BYD Han, but after careful research, you will find that most of the cheap models of the BYD Han are equipped with plug-in hybrids, and the price of pure electric models is still very expensive, because the battery cost is here. And this Hongqi EH7 is all pure electric drive, so the price is naturally more expensive.

The Hongqi EH7 is derived from Hongqi's self-developed Qisi electrification platform, which supports OTA upgrades for the whole vehicle and has a better interior space experience.

In terms of exterior styling, Hongqi EH7 adopts a very mainstream design at the moment, which strengthens the rib line design on both sides of the headlights, which looks like it has enough power. In fact, I even saw a shadow of Xiaomi in the front of the car.

From the side, there are still a lot of highlights of the new car, hidden electric door handles, 19-inch oversized wheels, and red brake calipers. And judging from the side profile, it is even a bit similar to Jia Yueting's FF91.

The rear shape of the model is a bit exaggerated, using a large area of through-type taillight styling design, and the bumper part is matched with a chrome panel that resembles the style of the exhaust pipe for decoration, the appearance of the vehicle is still quite trendy, but I think the tail design is slightly lacking. In terms of body data, the length, width and height of this Hongqi EH7 are 4980/1915/1490mm, and the wheelbase is 3000mm.

Looking at the internal design, Hongqi EH7 adopts a 360-degree enveloping intelligent cockpit design, basically no physical buttons, and even the air conditioning control panel is designed with a touch style, which shows that it has enough intelligent configuration. The central control part is equipped with a 15.5-inch floating central control screen, which is matched with a 6-inch full-LCD trip computer. In addition, this Hongqi EH7 is equipped with an open-source Hongqi app store, which supports OTA upgrades for the whole vehicle, voice recognition control system, and mobile phone interconnection.

According to the manufacturer's introduction, the new car has many highlights, such as the use of a large area of environmentally friendly materials in the car, which achieves zero formaldehyde. In addition, the panoramic sunroof on the roof blocks almost 99.9% of UV rays.

This Hongqi EH7 is truly all-in-one in terms of intelligent driving system, and the whole system is matched with L2 level intelligent driving system. In addition to the active braking system and lane departure warning system, it is also equipped with an automatic parking system. What's more, it also has the ability to track and reverse, which is commendable.

As for the power system, the Hongqi EH7 adopts two drive modes: single motor and dual motor, and the battery is provided by CATL, with a pure electric range of 600km-820km under CLTC working conditions. The cruising range in winter is more than 500km, so the problem of range anxiety does not exist on this Hongqi EH7. It is worth mentioning that this Hongqi EH7 also uses nano-level aviation thermal insulation materials, which can really bring high standards and high safety power battery design.
