Yes, there is no price yet for the plug-in hybrid version of the Buick GL8, but its "home version" will be officially launched on April 18.

If you don't look at the brand, the body data of 5251*1920*1820mm, coupled with this exterior styling, is a commercial MPV that is larger than GL8.

However, its positioning is indeed home, and the price is close to the people, the whole system is equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system as standard, and the price is 179,900-279,900. It is nearly 43,000 yuan cheaper than the current lowest-equipped gasoline version of the Buick GL8.

And this car is not a miscellaneous brand, on the contrary, it is supported by the Dongfeng wind with 70 years of experience in car manufacturing.

Since it is a veteran car company, its car-making heritage cannot be underestimated. Especially in plug-in hybrid technology, the selling points are much more than other car companies.

So far, Xinghai V9 is the only MPV on the market that can be pure electric, plug-in hybrid, and can extend the range. Therefore, in terms of fuel consumption control and endurance, it is much stronger than the existing MPVs on the market.

According to the data given by the manufacturer, the comprehensive cruising range of this MPV is up to 1300KM, and I believe that even if there is a discount in daily driving, it can easily reach a range of 1000KM, which is a very practical indicator for family travel.

More importantly, as a plug-in hybrid MPV, its charging power is no different from pure electric, supporting an 800V high-voltage charging platform, and it does not pick a charging pile and adapts to all interface protocols in the market. This should be a unique model in the plug-in hybrid segment.

At the same time, the car also has 5 millimeter-wave radars, 5 panoramic cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars, it is difficult to imagine that a plug-in hybrid MPV with more than 100,000 can have so many sensors.

Therefore, it is not inferior to any 300,000-level new car-making force in terms of intelligent assisted driving functions.

As a traditional car-making company, Dongfeng Fengxing's advantage lies in the traditional hardware, such as its engine and brake system, which is far more reliable than the new car-making forces. 

Coupled with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and Tencent Ai4.0 system that are standard in the whole system, this unknown MPV has no shortcomings in software and hardware.

Finally, the biggest disadvantage of Xinghai V9 is that the brand awareness is too low, not only is it far inferior to GL8, but it is even inferior to the disciple brother VOYAH Dreamer.

But as the saying goes, the aroma of wine is not afraid of deep alleys, although the price of Xinghai V9 is very low, but the workmanship details and materials are actually higher than the Buick GL8 and VOYANT Dreamer more than 300,000.

In particular, the comfort of the second- and third-row seats, as well as the space practicality of the trunk, are higher than those of the VOYAH Dreamer.

Judging from the MPV sales ranking in March, the VOYAH Dreamer is no longer in the limelight, and sales have plummeted. If Xinghai V9 can have the same marketing expenses as VOYANT, the car should be an MPV with monthly sales of more than 10,000.

I just want to ask, how should the plug-in hybrid version of Buick GL8, which has not yet been bid, deal with Xinghai V9, in addition to brand awareness, GL8 is completely defeated by Xinghai V9 in all aspects.
