Zhangjiajie City's announcement on continuing to carry out the collection of cultural relics and historical materials

We sincerely hope that people from all walks of life will enthusiastically donate cultural relics and exhibits and provide relevant clues for the Hunan Revolutionary Military Museum.

1. The scope and category of the collection focuses on the collection of activities such as the Communist Party of China leading the people's army in Hunan to carry out revolutionary activities, military operations, construction and development, carry out rights protection and stability maintenance, border defense struggle, international peacekeeping, offshore escort, major security tasks, help poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, participate in emergency rescue and disaster relief, support local economic and social construction, carry out foreign military exchanges and cooperation, and other activities, as well as relevant cultural relics (physical) historical materials of leaders and generals, revolutionary martyrs and revolutionary soldiers.

(1) Literature. Resolutions, decisions, declarations of various important conferences, documents, proclamations, telegrams, reports, instructions, circulars, summaries and other original official documents of various organs (parties, governments, armies, organizations and other institutions).

(2) Manuscripts. Documents, telegrams, works, letters, inscriptions, diaries, autobiographies, blood letters, and applications for joining the party and the regiment are drafted by national leaders, famous military and political figures, famous martyrs, famous heroes and exemplary figures, famous writers and famous figures recognized by all walks of life.

(3) Books, periodicals, and leaflets. Books and periodicals include books, newspapers, periodicals, extras, current affairs materials, memoirs, document compilations and other printed materials; Leaflets include leaflets, slogans, and cartoons distributed or posted during major events and large-scale mass movements in history, reports of victories in important battles, and propaganda materials distributed by the warring parties to the enemy.

(4) Medals, badges, and certificates. All kinds of medals, medals, certificates of merit (good news for meritorious service), commemorative medals, badges of institutions (schools, organizations), certificates (enlistment certificates, student certificates), certificates (graduation certificates), representative certificates, and other symbols, etc.

(5) Flags. National flags, military flags, award flags, ship flags, team flags, pennants, banners and other iconic and recognizable flags.

(6) Seal the letter. Customs and defense, official seals, various seals used by state organs, military forces, political parties, mass organizations, etc., and seals used by famous personalities.

(7) Weapons and equipment. All kinds of weapons, ammunition, military vehicles, machinery, appliances, maps, communication equipment, protective equipment, observation equipment, medical equipment and other military articles.

(8) Personal equipment. The daily equipment distributed by the army, reserve and militia in various periods or used by heroic units and heroic model figures, including clothes (military uniforms), hats, shoes, coats, raincoats, quilts, mattresses, shoulder bags, grain bags, water bottles, belts, dental jars, backpack belts, leggings, etc.

(9) Audio-visual products. Photographs (including negatives), audio tapes, audio recordings, documentaries, video tapes, compact discs, etc.

(10) Works of art and arts and crafts. Military-themed works created by members of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, the Chinese Artists Association, other national authoritative associations or famous figures, including calligraphy, paintings, sculptures, etc.

(11) Currency, stamps and other practical art items. Coins, deeds, bills, receipts, IOUs, military post, commemorative mail, first day covers, etc.

(12) Relics of celebrities. The relics of leaders, military generals, famous martyrs, famous heroes and celebrities from all walks of life, all cultural relics that cannot be classified into the above categories, including office supplies (such as pens, inkstones, magnifying glasses, scissors), desks and chairs, office equipment (such as watches, gramophones), labor tools, daily necessities (such as glasses, beds, basins, buckets, tableware, clothing), etc.

(13) Miscellaneous. Other cultural objects that cannot be classified in the above categories.

Second, the method of solicitation

Military museums may, in accordance with relevant provisions, collect cultural relics in accordance with laws and regulations by accepting donations, borrowing and escrow, exchanging them in accordance with law, and must not collect cultural relics from unknown or illegal sources.

(1) Where social organizations and individuals voluntarily donate cultural relics, a certificate of donation shall be issued. Where the value of donated cultural relics is relatively high and the quantity is relatively large, a separate donation ceremony may be held. Those who have made outstanding contributions can be written into the "Museum Chronicle". Once the donated cultural relics are displayed, they will be permanently signed in the display case. For those who enthusiastically support, provide clues, and assist in the collection, they and their families can be awarded honorary certificates, and they can enjoy the green channel service after the opening of the Military Museum.

Donations of precious cultural relics of great significance may be given spiritual encouragement or material rewards in accordance with law.

(2) Where social organizations and individuals voluntarily lend cultural relics to military museums for display or safekeeping, they shall sign an agreement on borrowing and escrow after expert appraisal, and the military museums shall scientifically protect, safely keep and rationally use them.

(3) The collections of state-owned cultural relics collection units that are indeed necessary for the exhibition of military museums, and the collections currently on the exhibition line shall be obtained by means of reproduction; Collections that have not yet been exhibited shall be acquired by means of borrowing, reproduction, or exchange in accordance with law.
