After the Zunyi Conference, the first consideration of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was to report to the Comintern. Because the CCP was still a unit of the Comintern at that time, and when it lost contact with the Comintern, the CCP held a meeting in Zunyi to change its leader and change its line, and it was necessary to let the Comintern know the truth as soon as possible and gain international recognition. However, the radio station of the Shanghai Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China had been damaged by the enemy, and it was impossible to communicate with Moscow by radio waves. In this way, after discussing with Mao Zedong, Zhang Wentian decided to send Chen Yun, a member of the Politburo Standing Committee, to Shanghai, to resume underground work in the paralyzed White Zone, and to try to contact Moscow in Shanghai, or to report to Moscow. After Chen Yun commanded the Red Army to cross the Jinsha River and cross the Luding Bridge, he secretly left the Red Army as a representative of the Central Committee and came to our Fifth Army Corps as the rearguard. He disguised himself as a Shanghai merchant, and under the pretext of going to western Sichuan to collect debts, he was escorted by the Fifth Army Corps through a section of Kuomintang-ruled areas to connect with the underground party.
The Party Committee of the Legion entrusted the task of escorting Chen Yun to the Security Bureau. One afternoon, I led the security team to change into civilian clothes and escort Chen Yun to departure. We sent him to a village, where he was picked up by the underground party and transferred to Shanghai.

Ouyang Yi, born in 1910, a native of Yizhang, Hunan, participated in the revolution in 1927, and was the director of the Security Bureau of the Political Department of the 5th Army Corps of the Red Front Army, the director of the 1st Bureau of the Headquarters of the Red Fourth Front Army, and the director of the Political Department of the Public Security Force and the deputy political commissar of the artillery after the founding of New China. In 1955, he was awarded the rank of lieutenant general, a member of the Fourth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Standing Committee of the Sixth National People's Congress, an alternate representative of the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and a representative of the Eleventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China. He died in 2005.

Seeing that the defeat was decided, Zhang Zhen burned the armory and a large number of military supplies in the city, and fled in the direction of Zhangpu and Zhao'an by taking advantage of the darkness of the night.
Dong Zhentang led the team directly under the regiment to organize a transport team in the rear of Longyan to continuously transport ammunition, food, food, and forage to the front line, and then picked up the wounded from the front line and carried them to the rear hospital for treatment.
The Red 14th Army cleared out the remnants of bandits in southern Jiangxi and western Fujian and swept away the enemy's occupied points.

The 79th and 6th Divisions of the enemy's Hedong Column, under the cover of several aircraft, launched fierce attacks on the positions of the Red Army such as Daluoshan and Yanfuzhang, and began to carry out the second phase of the offensive towards Guangchang.
The Central Revolutionary Military Commission, with the Red 13th Division and the 6th Division of the Red 3rd Army Corps, which was holding its position, as the right flank, continued to hold its position and counterattacked the enemy from the right flank. The 13th Division set out from Shizui, assembled via Tiannanpu, Leshanting, and Guzhu, and the main force was in the Gaozhuangshang and Dengjiashan areas from the line of Nanhua Mountain, Wanlong Village, Guojiazhai, Qiujiazhang, and Xiaojunfeng. At about 7 o'clock, the 37th Red Regiment occupied the lines of Longquan'an, Nanhuashan, Dapai, Gaokeng, and Lifeng, and reconnoitred and guerrilla attacks on Zhonghewei and Laiyuan. The rest occupied Dengjiazhuang and Guojiazhai, and gathered there with the main force to cooperate with friendly forces to surprise at a timely time. At 12 o'clock, the enemy had occupied Yanfu Ridge, advanced to Baiye in the north of Shagang, and planned to respond to the enemy's attack on Daluo Mountain and Tianjingwei. The 13th Division gathered its main force near Dengjiazhuang and attacked in the direction of Furong and Shiyuan. Camp at night in Guojiazhai and Jiaoshang.
The Red 34th Division continued to garrison along the Jiantai line in Daejeon City and other places to block and delay the enemy advancing towards Jianning.
