Introduction to the arts

Yi Junru: I like painting since I was a child, and I learned from my brother Mr. Yi Baishi. The characters of flowers and birds, the works of the masters of the past dynasties for decades, and the essence of Chinese painting and calligraphy are studied diligently.

He studied at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, under the tutelage of He Yanzhe and Ruan Kemin, who studied landscapes, flowers and birds. He is currently a member of the Hong Kong Artists Association, a member of the Tianjin Hexi and Hedong Artists Association, and a member of the West Bank Calligraphy and Painting Garden of the Tianjin Hexi District Wenguan.
