The comprehensive renovation and upgrading project along the Hutuo River is located on the north and south banks of the Hutuo River City section (Zhonghua Street to the North Extension of the East Third Ring Road), including the improvement of the landscape of Manshui Road and the surrounding wetlands, the restoration of the Tayuanzhuang fault zone, the renovation and upgrading of the No. 1 and No. 3 Qianba Batou Square, the climbing point of the Jizhiguang Tower and the improvement of the surrounding environment, etc., The project will officially start construction in January 2024.

Tayuanzhuang Fault Zone Regreening Project
Located on the north bank of the Hutuo River, between the high-speed rail line and the oblique embankment, the Tayuanzhuang Fault Zone Regreening Project has a total length of 1.9 kilometers and a width of 50~100m. The main construction contents include 24 flower squares, leisure courts, balance car parks, Maoting nostalgia and Yueji Garden. The project continues the overall road network system of the Hutuo River, with the construction of a new 6-meter battery road, the renewal of the waterfront pavement, the transformation of the damaged wood pavement to a strong and durable stone pavement, and the renewal of the fence with a waterfront guardrail combined with the commentary board.
The Tayuanzhuang project has convenient transportation and mature infrastructure, and the project has built a water-friendly cultural corridor and an all-age friendly activity field on the basis of the original site. In terms of plant planting, we pay attention to the selection of plant varieties suitable for spring growth, and by highlighting the theme of "Tayuan Spring Morning", the public feels as if they are in a beautiful spring picture scroll and feel the beauty and vitality of nature.
Jizhiguang Tower Ascending Point and Surrounding Environment Project
The Jizhiguang Tower project is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Cuiping East Road and Manshui Road, with a construction area of about 475 square meters. The project opens the fifth and seventh floors of the tower through construction, increases the viewing platform, and maintains the function of the viewing platform on the top floor to enhance the transparency of the tower and provide more viewing space for the public. At the same time, the façade of the tower is updated on the basis of the current situation in the form of a combination of off-white stone and transparent glass.
After the completion of the repair, the Jizhiguang Tower Ascending Point project can better meet the sightseeing needs of tourists. From the top of the tower, visitors can experience the majesty of the Taihang Mountains, the historical heritage of the ancient city of Zhengding, and the natural landscape of the Taiping River Basin, thus appreciating the unique charm of Shijiazhuang.
No. 1 Qianba Batou Square Project
No. 1 Dam is located on the west side of Xincheng Avenue and south of Mingxi Lake Park, and the project upgrading project has created a water-friendly viewing platform by setting up a lotus-shaped tensile membrane on the Batou Square, planting lotus flowers around the square, and meeting the needs of citizens to enjoy the scenery and stop.
The overall theme of the project is "lotus", and lotus flowers are planted along the waterfront to form a "lotus shoreline", which not only beautifies the landscape, but also creates a pleasant leisure atmosphere. Citizens can stroll along the lotus shoreline during the lotus blooming season, enjoy the swaying of flower shadows and the fragrant scenery, and feel the beauty of nature and the vitality of life.
No. 3 Qianba Batou Square Project
The No. 3 dam is located in the east of Taihang Street, and the upgrading project is mainly for revetment engineering, tensile membrane engineering, sketch engineering, greening engineering and pavement engineering. Relying on the height difference of the river revetment, the project shapes a stone revetment in the shallow water area of the river to form a considerable, sitting, and touching water-friendly shoreline.

Manshui Road is located on the west side of the intersection of the Taiping River and the Hutuo River, and on the southeast side of the Jizhiguang Tower. The upgrading project mainly renovates the existing flooded road, builds new holes and bridges and culverts, improves water flow and traffic, and facilitates pedestrian traffic, carries out gabion treatment on the bottom of the riverbank, lays landscape stones and dissipation pools on the south side of the rubber dam, and carries out environmental beautification work, including cleaning up the garbage on the riverbank, greening and beautifying the coastal landscape, etc., to improve the overall aesthetics of the surrounding environment.
