The community carried out energy conservation and emission reduction in public buildings, saving an average of 38,000 kWh of electricity per month and reducing carbon emissions by 4,632 tons; carried out wastewater utilization actions, and discharged the wastewater from the water purification system into the landscape pool through new pipelines, saving a total of 64,000 cubic meters of water; implementing domestic waste classification and composting wet garbage, so that the recycling rate of dry and wet garbage reached 14.33%...... To this end, Hongqiao Street will also launch the 2024 Golden City Road Block Low-carbon Co-creation Action with the theme of "Let's Carbonize and Live a Sustainable Life" during this year's "World Earth Day". The co-creation action includes seven major contents, including expanding a sustainable development alliance, holding various types of green exchange public welfare days, promoting a low-carbon plastic reduction and energy-saving activity, and launching a "ginkgo tree" protection plan.
