In 2005, mushrooms were planted in the local area. In Xiaozhanghe Village, where the mountains are high and the water is long, the climate is humid, and every household grows mushrooms, and Wang Xiude sells a raw material, gypsum powder. After inspecting and checking various test reports, he bought a batch of gypsum powder produced in other places. After more than two years of sales, the effect of the gypsum powder has been unanimously recognized by farmers.
In mid-May 2007, Wang Xiude was sorting out the goods in the store as in previous years, and several villagers ran into the store and said: "There is a problem with this batch of gypsum powder! After testing by the industrial and commercial department, it was the gypsum powder that had a problem. Wang Xiude immediately went to the manufacturer to discuss the law, but found that the manufacturer had already gone to the empty building. After the case, there were two bosses in the village who operated gypsum powder of the same brand, and they closed their shops one after another after hearing the news.
"A bag of gypsum powder isn't worth a few dollars, but mushrooms are the main source of income for farmers. I don't care if others pay me or not, I pay for it. The villagers trust me, and I can't let them down!" Although anxious and panicked, Wang Xiude firmly promised: not only to compensate, but also to compensate the farmers in full!

Wang Xiude gave an IOU to each farmer. In winter, Wang Xiude rode a motorcycle to Yuan'an County, 70 kilometers away, to sell fish, the cold was frozen in sweat, and his hair was covered with ice ballast; on a summer night, a large truck of fertilizer arrived, and the husband and wife carried it on their shoulders and unloaded it until the early hours of the morning. Wang Xiude's wife said: "It is a dime to be able to earn an extra dime, and it is a dime to be able to repay an extra household." ”
With the unremitting efforts of Wang Xiude and his wife, the loans owed to relatives were finally paid off one by one. When the family paid off the last debt, Wang Xiude took his wife Yang Guangfen to Nanzhang County and bought her a new set of clothes, "In the years of repaying the debt, we have not bought a new dress, not even a pair of socks." The couple has also kept the 230 IOUs, and many of them have been yellowed and curled. Xiaozhanghe Village is a mountainous and highland area, with many elderly people and children, and Wang Xiude's supermarket is their main channel for buying daily necessities. There are elderly people who are old, have inconvenient legs or feet, or are sick, so Wang Xiude purchased a small truck and delivered them to their doors. In order to serve the surrounding people, Wang Xiude chooses to operate many products with thin profits and low demand. Clay pot, hot water bottle bladder, back basket...... These obsolete materials have low prices, occupy space, and take a long time to tally. But Wang Xiude said: "These items should not only be available, but also have many specifications and varieties, because there are some elderly people in the mountains who do not know how to use natural gas and induction cookers, and only these old-fashioned daily necessities can meet their needs." ”
Because of its good reputation and responsibility, in 2019, Hubei Rural Commercial Bank installed an ATM in Wang Xiude's supermarket. Since then, he has a new task, which is to help the elderly save and withdraw money. In November 2022, Li Qiming from Zhangmu Village, Hekou Township, Yuan'an County, withdrew money at the counter machine, mistakenly thought that the operation was unsuccessful and left. Wang Xiude found that the information on his card showed that the operation was successful, so he immediately sent 2,000 yuan in cash to Li Qiming's house.
