On April 13, Hanyin County People's Hospital organized party members and cadres to carry out a party day free clinic activity with the theme of "Party flag leads the people's livelihood and health knowledge enters ten thousand homes" in Sanping Village, Chengguan Town.
At the event site, a volunteer service team composed of 10 party members from the Department of Neurology, Rehabilitation and Endocrinology of the County People's Hospital conducted free health examinations for residents, provided disease health consulting services, and preached the prevention, identification, emergency treatment of stroke, as well as the prevention and treatment of hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia and hypertension. Rehabilitation physicians carry out acupuncture, orthopedic and other treatments for people with related diseases, preach daily health care knowledge, and advocate a healthy lifestyle.
"I not only measured my blood pressure and blood sugar today, but also consulted about the dizziness and low back pain that have plagued me for a long time, and the experts came to the village for free consultation, so that we elderly people can enjoy free medical services without going far, thanks to the kindness of these doctors in the county hospital," said Grandma Wu, a villager.
In this activity, nearly 150 people were consulted and diagnosed on site, more than 200 copies of disease health promotion brochures were distributed, and more than 2,000 yuan of drugs were distributed free of charge. In the future, the hospital will continue to actively organize free clinic activities in rural areas, give full play to the professional advantages and vanguard and exemplary role of the majority of party members, provide more convenient medical services for the masses, and help implement the work of rural revitalization.
