The only national industrial design and research institute in the national ceramic industry settled in Dehua, established the Ceramic Innovation and Development Research Institute, implemented the three plans of "China White" future sharing, global promotion, and innovation and promotion, and created the country's first global expert think tank platform specializing in the development of the ceramic industry.

For example, at the 2017 BRICS Summit in Xiamen, 15 of the 16 national gifts came from Dehua, and the official licensed goods of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, the Big Coffee Cup and the Xiaomanwaist Beer Cup, as well as the mascots of the Beijing Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics, "Bingdundun" and "Xue Rongrong", and the official gift "Wenjun Bottle", are all made by Dehua. As the only county in Fujian Province, Dehua County was included in the first batch of pilots of the national regional (city) industrial business card building plan.
