Li Xuerui, born on January 24, 1991 in Dadukou District, Chongqing, won the women's singles badminton title at the 2012 London Olympics, Chongqing's first Olympic champion, and she also won the women's singles silver medal at the World Championships in 2013 and 2014. In addition, Li Xuerui is a two-time Sudirman Cup and a three-time Uber Cup champion.
