The prolonged illness made him barely able to eat and had to rely on infusions to sustain him with the nutrients he needed to survive.

Because when Ai Yuejin is healthy and energetic, he always devotes himself to his work, whether it is a lecture tour, academic research, or the recruitment of military majors, he does it himself and spares no effort.
Fu Hong is well aware of her husband's hard work and dedication, and she has persuaded Ai Yuejin to rest many times, but he always puts work first and is difficult to give up. For Ai Yuejin, work is not only his profession, but also a part of his life, and he can't imagine a life without a job. However, the fragility of life is so evident at this moment that even the strongest people can hardly resist the invasion of illness.
Ai Yuejin was born in Tianjin at the end of the 50s, when the new China was in the early stage of liberation, his father Ai Bai was a staunch old party member, as early as the war of resistance against Japan, he resolutely threw himself into the torrent of revolution. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Ai Bai was transferred to Nantong, Jiangsu Province to work, and continued to contribute to the construction of New China.
Abbey was a man of great principle, he firmly believed in revolutionary ideas, and even in that particular historical period, he was unfortunately wrongly criticized for sticking to his beliefs and principles. In 1970, when Ai Yuejin was only 12 years old, his father Ai Bai died at the age of 55. This was a huge blow to the young Ai Yuejin, but he did not give up on his studies because of this. On the contrary, he turned his grief into strength and studied hard, hoping to comfort his father's soul in heaven with excellent results.
Ai Yuejin's efforts were not in vain, and he was finally admitted to Nankai University with excellent results. On campus, he demonstrated exceptional talent and leadership, and was soon eligible to stay on campus. He takes his academic rigor seriously and is passionate about his work. In 2006, he formed the Department of Military Affairs, which is dedicated to the study and teaching of military science. Ai Yuejin was eloquent and knowledgeable, and soon became a banner of Nankai University.
Ai Yuejin is not only unique academically, but also a simple and approachable teacher in daily life. His speech was infectious and loved by teachers and students. However, Ai Yuejin's health gradually deteriorated due to long-term overwork. In 2014, he was diagnosed with cancer. Despite the fact that after an operation, his stomach was cut in half, he still insisted on working sick.
In the spring of 2016, when spring was in full swing, Mr. Ai Yuejin came to the end of his life. He died at the age of 58, but his spirit and career will forever inspire those who came after him.
