Recently, Hangzhou Zhengchu [2023] No. 162 plot commercial housing project started construction, which will create a "Zhijiang art and cultural innovation highland".
The project is located in the Zhuantang unit of West Lake District, on the northeast side of the intersection of National Highway 320 and Zhiyin Road, with a land area of 18,299 square meters and a total construction area of about 37,700 square meters, and is expected to be completed in May 2027.
Relying on the geographical advantages of China Academy of Art and Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, the project will introduce diversified business formats covering art education, cultural industry and headquarters economy, and will create a single-family low-density community with digital content, creative design, film and television production, animation and games, and modern performing arts as the new cultural and creative carriers, and build a "Zhijiang Art and Culture Innovation Highland" integrating digital economy and cultural industry.
Xihu District is building a high-quality development pattern of "strong in the north, strong in the south, and prosperous in the south", which is to build a "3+N" characteristic industrial system dominated by digital economy, tourism, and cultural creativity in the Zhijiang area, and build a "Zhijiang Future City".
Building a "Zhijiang Art and Culture Innovation Highland" will become a new important growth pole for the West Lake District to expand the openness of "Nanqi" and help the development of "Beiqiang, Nanqi and Zhongxing".
