On April 18, under the guidance of the Propaganda Department of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the Anhui Provincial National Defense Education Office, sponsored by Anhui Radio and Television Media Industry Group, and undertaken by Anhui Film Group, the 2024 "Huiying National Defense" Anhui National Defense Theme Film Screening Event was held in Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Shaoquanhu Campus).
At the launching ceremony, two outstanding retired college students from Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine shared their youthful dreams of joining the army and serving the country with a pen and their deep understanding of "retirement does not fade", and advocated all students to actively join the army and dedicate themselves to the cause of national defense with their own military experience. After the ceremony, about 600 leaders, guests and students from Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine watched the movie "Volunteers: Heroes Attack".
During the event, 100 national defense education films and excellent domestic red films with the theme of patriotism and strengthening the army will be selected, relying on the Star Campus Cinema Line and Xin'an Rural Cinema Line in our province, and will be selected at the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei University of Technology, Anhui University, Thirty-five colleges and universities in the province, including the People's Liberation Army Army Artillery and Air Defense Academy, screened 500 national defense-themed films, screened 100 national defense-themed films in primary and secondary schools, and screened 10,000 national defense-themed films in rural public welfare films, covering about 300,000 viewers.
It is reported that the 2024 "Huiying National Defense" screening activity will be themed "Light and Shadow Casting the Soul and Strengthening the Army's Dream of Huiying Country's New Journey", which is divided into two parts: national defense-themed films entering 10,000 villages and entering the campus, and the entire event will last until the end of this year.
