Metro Line 12 is a rail transit trunk line mainly laid along the east and west of the North Third Ring Road, with a total length of about 30 kilometers and 21 stations, spanning the four administrative districts of Haidian, Xicheng, Dongcheng and Chaoyang, connecting Century City, Shuangyushu, Dazhong Temple, North Taipingzhuang, Madian, Anzhen, Sanyuanqiao, Jiuxianqiao, Dongba and other residential areas, commercial areas and important functional areas.
This year, Line 12 will open the section from Sijiqing Station to Dongfeng Station, with a total of 20 stations, of which 13 are transfer stations, which can be transferred with Line 4, Line 5, Line 8, etc. After the opening of the line, it will effectively alleviate the ground traffic pressure in the northern part of the city, especially the North Third Ring Road, and at the same time play a leading role in the track and drive the development and construction of the surrounding areas of the line.

Jimenqiao Station of Metro Line 12 is located in the bustling West North Third Ring Road, adjacent to the Yuan Dadu Ruins Park, and is a three-storey underground island station, of which the first underground floor is the station hall layer, the second underground floor is the equipment layer, and the third underground floor is the platform layer.
At present, the decoration construction of the main structure of the station and the station hall floor and platform layer in the public area has been basically completed, and the decoration of the auxiliary structure and equipment installation are underway.

The design concept of Jimenqiao Station of Metro Line 12 is based on the intention of "misty rain", combined with the design elements of the ink painting of the covered bridge, refining the misty landscape feeling, using modern light and shadow means to render the space atmosphere, reproducing the poetic and picturesque meaning of Jimen misty rain, and bringing a different visual enjoyment to passengers.
Jimenqiao Station is also the transfer station of Line 12 and the southern extension of Changping Line, these two lines adopt the "T" shaped transfer design of the same station hall, and it only takes 2 minutes in the future for passengers to complete the transfer at this station, which is very convenient.
