In order to welcome the 22nd National Publicity Week of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Treatment of Occupational Diseases, strengthen the occupational health protection of workers, safeguard the labor safety and health rights and interests of employees, and effectively prevent safety production accidents and occupational hazards, on the afternoon of April 17, the Yanta District Federation of Trade Unions held an occupational health lecture on "Paying Attention to the Occupational Health of Employees and Safeguarding the Physical and Mental Rights and Interests of Employees" in Xi'an Aier Eye Hospital. More than 80 people from the Federation of Trade Unions of various streets, the Federation of Trade Unions of the Future Industrial City, the Trade Union of the New Technology Industry Development Center, the labor protection supervision and inspectors of the trade unions and enterprise representatives of the districts participated in the event.
At the beginning of the event, Mr. Shi Nannan, a senior partner of Beijing Yingke (Xi'an) Law Firm, gave a detailed and wonderful lecture on the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Treatment of Occupational Diseases from six aspects: the concept and classification of occupational diseases, the responsibilities of employers, the rights of workers to occupational health protection, the diagnosis of occupational diseases, and the treatment of occupational patients.
In addition, Yuan Yongxin, Chief of the Occupational Health Section and Deputy Chief Physician of Xi'an Center for Disease Control and Prevention, analyzed the knowledge of occupational health from the two major aspects of occupational health and the main work of occupational disease prevention and control of employers with the theme of "Adhering to Prevention First and Guarding Occupational Health", and used a large number of cases to explain in detail for us.
This occupational health knowledge lecture has a clear theme, closely follows the actual work and life of the majority of employees, and enhances the awareness of self-protection and rights protection of the majority of employees. For a long time, the Yanta District Federation of Trade Unions has thoroughly implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on production safety and the important instructions on the prevention and treatment of occupational diseases, conscientiously performed its basic duties, made full use of the "Ankang Cup" competition platform, promoted the implementation of labor protection for employees, and effectively protected the life safety and health rights and interests of employees.
In the next step, the Yanta District Federation of Trade Unions will extensively organize and carry out various forms and rich content of mass labor protection and occupational health publicity activities, leading the majority of employees in the district to "do a good job in building a beautiful Yanta Pagoda", and contribute to the high-quality development of Yanta Pagoda.
