On April 17, the Lintong District Education Bureau and the District Market Supervision Bureau launched an open day for the school canteen in Lishan Xinjiayuan School, inviting "two representatives and one member" and parent representatives to enter the school canteen to experience the whole process of food safety management and catering services.
The theme of this school canteen open day is "'You click and I check' to protect the beautiful 'food' light of the campus". During the activity, everyone visited the various functional areas of the canteen and learned in detail about the source of ingredients, processing process, hygiene standards and food sample retention system of the canteen. Five kinds of ingredients were randomly selected for pesticide residue safety inspection, and the five batches of food that passed the rapid inspection were all qualified.
After the visit, everyone said that by participating in the activities, they had a better understanding of the daily operation of the school canteen, and the children were very relieved to eat at school.
On the same day, the District Education Bureau also invited dietary and nutrition experts from the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention to give a special lecture on nutrition and health and campus food safety for the person in charge of food safety work, parent representatives and student representatives of all schools in the district.
"The school canteen open day is a powerful extension of the special action of campus food safety investigation and rectification. In the near future, the canteens of the district-wide feeding schools will carry out this activity one after another, actively respond to the concerns of students' parents about campus food safety, promote food safety co-governance and sharing, and effectively ensure the food safety of teachers and students.
