On the morning of April 12, the opening ceremony of FAW-Volkswagen Changchun-Xuzhou, Zhengzhou and Changchun Chengdu two-way trains was held in Changchun's production-oriented national logistics hub - FAW Logistics Railway Shipping Center. The opening of the train has opened up a new channel for FAW Logistics to serve customers with low comprehensive cost, high transportation efficiency and reduced carbon emissions. Chen Liming, General Manager of FAW Logistics Co., Ltd., Yang Hai, Director of Production Management Department of FAW-Volkswagen Co., Ltd., and Gu Guangming, General Manager of China Railway Special Cargo Logistics Co., Ltd., delivered speeches respectively and witnessed this moment with more than 50 railway delivery management personnel.
Chen Liming said that the opening of a number of commercial vehicle convection trains marks the upgrading of the quality and speed of commercial vehicle railway logistics, and demonstrates the confidence and determination of the three companies to carry out in-depth cooperation at a higher level, higher standards and higher quality. The opening of the new convection train will greatly improve the delivery efficiency of railway commodity cars, which perfectly meets the requirements of FAW-Volkswagen's digital transformation from order to delivery process, and is an important step to achieve the goal of "railway delivery and highway timeliness".
