It is worth mentioning that AI has become the biggest selling point of the Pura 70 series, and the whole series supports AI air control, intelligent payment, and access to the Pangu large model, bringing more intelligent applications such as AI elimination and AI cloud enhancement.

This also means that the much-talked-about P70 model will be renamed the Pura 70, which is also the first product in Pura's new series.
According to Counterpoint Research, Huawei made a strong comeback in the first two weeks of 2024 as the number one smartphone seller. In the first six weeks of 2024, overall smartphone sales in China fell by 7% year-on-year, but Huawei's mobile phones grew 64% year-on-year, ranking second with a market share of 17%.
Among them, the Huawei Mate 60 series became one of the few bright spots at the beginning of this year. In addition, data shows that in the fourth quarter of last year, Huawei's folding screen mobile phone shipments ranked first, with a market share of 51.2%.

Imaging and AI functions are highlights
The Pura 70 series has already received a lot of attention in the market when it has not been "refaced". Based on past experience, the Huawei P series is generally unveiled at the spring conference in March every year.
The market had expected the P70 to be released in Shanghai in early April. Some market participants believe that Huawei will pre-sell the P70 through the "Pioneer Plan" and other methods in April.
In addition to the timing of the launch, there has been a lot of speculation about its performance, features, and configuration. Shanghai Securities analyzed in a research report that in terms of performance, the P70 system supports 5G, and with the support of new satellite communication technology, the network will be upgraded to 5.5G.
In terms of imaging, the P70 standard version will use a domestic sensor, and all series will be equipped with a periscope telephoto lens that supports variable aperture and OIS optical image stabilization technology. In addition, the P70 series has also been upgraded in terms of lenses, spin-coated filters, micro-prisms, motors, and CIS.
In terms of AI, the agency mentioned that the P70 has a built-in Pangu model developed by Huawei, with AI photography as the core highlight, and functions such as voice assistant, copywriting generation, and picture and video generation can be greatly improved. In addition, the agency also expects that its built-in HarmonyOS will bring some features of the HarmonyOS version.
