At the beginning of 2023, Xujiahui Street will actively implement the "repair + elevator" model proposed by the district housing management department to carry out the comprehensive repair project of "three old" to "three new" old residences, and superimpose large-scale elevators. Through the comprehensive transformation of the community, a series of supporting projects are provided for the installation of elevators in a short period of time, including the optimization of non-motorized carports in public areas, property committees, property office buildings, improving the green landscape of the community, and treating the gas, electricity, water supply, rain and sewage, and overhead lines in the community.
The building where Aunt Yao is located, after a full investigation by the Party Branch of Xitang Residential Area in the early stage, adjusted the non-motorized garage in the comprehensive renovation project of "three old" to "three new", so that the building has a new turn for the elevator - it has the conditions for the elevator. From consultation to application, to follow-up communication and coordination, when it was time to collect the elevator payment, the residents of Building 16 transferred the payment for the elevator to the designated account within 2 days, so that the installation of the elevator could start smoothly.

"Huiai Jiati" warms the hearts of the people and fulfills the "elevator dream" of difficult groups
In the process of adding ladders, Aunt Yao also received funding from the "Huiai Ladder" project. The reporter learned from Xujiahui Street that the "Hui Ai Jiati" project of the Xujiahui Street Community Foundation is a funding project set up by the community "two new" organizations, caring enterprises, social organizations, elevator construction agencies and other forces to participate and actively raise funds to realize the "elevator dream" of the difficult groups in the community.
The general party branch of Xitang residential area has widely launched and publicized through multiple channels and scenarios such as the party member conference, the women's congress of the building team leader, the symposium on the unit building and the elevator, the coordination meeting, and the explanation meeting, combined with the content of "repair + elevator", "huiai elevator" and provident fund withdrawal method, etc., and actively arranged the groups in the corridor that are indeed difficult and cannot contribute through the "one floor one policy", and publicized the "huiai elevator" funding project to reduce the economic burden of the vulnerable groups as much as possible.

At present, a total of 14 families in Kaixuan Village Community have applied for funding through the "Hui Ai Jiati" project of Xujiahui Community Foundation, of which 10 families have already received the subsidy for the ladder, and another 4 families will be able to receive the subsidy after the construction of the ladder project begins.
