In the design, we tried to retain the most basic original spatial structure of the space, and the relatively simple materials and chairs of different colors and shapes shaped the character of the space. City Center & City Observation Center

Here is the observation device of the complex urban space,

It gathers people who are sensitive to architecture, art, and the city...

When individual individuals are "connected" to each other in a particular time and space, then we want this connection to be special, long-lasting, and impressive...

This is Space1

In the design, we tried to retain the most basic original spatial structure of the space, and the relatively simple materials and chairs of different colors and shapes shaped the character of the space. With the addition of light, different times give different feelings to the space, and the intelligent lighting system provides a variety of possibilities for the space. A large amount of black is used as the "white space" of the space, and under the background of black, everyone and every event become the protagonist.

Composite function of the house with the house

In a large house with a height of 7 meters, in order to retain the internal slope roof of the building to the greatest extent, and at the same time consider the basic problems such as HVAC and lighting, we decided to divide a large-scale space into several small-scale units with different functions.

Using the spatial nesting technique of "building a house in a house", we reduced the scale of the space and used the difference in volume to arrange the independent spaces in a staggered manner: design space, meeting space, material room, meeting space, model room and public space Space1.

Diverse fragments in the corridor

Once these "houses" are built, a circular corridor is naturally formed. The design uses the method of montage to arrange and combine different scene slices in the verandah, so as to complete the smooth and coherent expression of the spatial narrative scene transformation. The inner corridor is a multi-functional space used within the office, that is, it provides daily activities such as communication, rest, and coffee breaks. Finally, the inner and outer corridors intersect in Space1, naturally connecting the circulation lines in the space.

Natural-type system

In this house with large ceilings and high spaces, we first used the method of reducing the scale of space to effectively solve the energy consumption problem.

Industrial fans placed next to the windows in the inner porch reduce energy consumption while providing greater air flow. However, after "building a house in a house", the lighting of the space was somewhat blocked, so we solved the lighting problem through Dupont paper to achieve the maximum natural light into the room.

As a division of interior space, the high reflectivity of DuPont paper always allows the light in the space to diffusely reflect, while the material itself presents a rich visual effect at different times of the day. At the same time, the lightness of the DuPont paper contrasts with the thickness of the concrete.

Also echoing the concrete is the terracotta bricks. The wildness and primitiveness of the terracotta bricks echo the natural transition of the rough concrete.

Relying on the inner and outer corridors, we have established a natural system, and in Space1 and the inner corridor space, we have reserved planting boxes along the walls to form a natural landscape that can surround the entire space. In order to integrate with the space as a whole, we chose perennials that are common in the outdoor landscape in terms of plant configuration.

The color state of the compound

The overall color coordination of the space, coupled with a small number of contrasting colors in the guide system, and the selection of materials with different textures are integrated in the same color system to form a layered color system.

With the core concept of "habitat for all things", ZOO Architectural Design Studio tries to redefine the meaning and value of architecture for all living beings from the perspective of welfare in the face of the development of high-level urban architecture. Organic, sustainable, natural and creative are our key words.

In the face of multiple changes in the industry, although we are in the high-density center of the city, we have the vast nature in our hearts, and challenge the city to conquer it, which is our architectural will.
