After Volkswagen and SAIC and FAW Group successively established joint ventures, the first to introduce the sedan Santana, but FAW Group also needed a car of the same level;
Jetta's sales performance is quite eye-catching, once not lost to Santana, so Volkswagen, which tasted the sweetness, introduced a new generation of Jetta; but the old Jetta was not discontinued, the old Jetta is still called Jetta, and the new Jetta introduced has changed its name to "Bora", and the price is higher than the old Jetta.
It is hard to predict that Bora has also become a best-selling car, and this model seems to work; so when the overseas version of the Jetta sedan was launched, FAW-Volkswagen introduced a new model and renamed it "Suteng", so far there are Jetta, Bora and Suteng three cars of the same level, but the price of Suteng is the highest.
