The optimization of Windows 11 seems to have failed to be fully satisfactory, as former Microsoft executives keep complaining. Jensen Harris, the former head of user experience (UX), has also publicly criticized Microsoft's new advertising system tested in the Windows 11 start menu, expressing disappointment and disapproval.
Harris said that since he left Microsoft a decade ago, he has not been very happy with the current state of the company's growth, especially the poor experience with the Windows user interface and user experience decisions.
Previously, Andy Young, a former senior engineer at Microsoft, criticized Microsoft's optimization efforts for the hardware he was using, arguing that Windows 11 didn't seem fast enough.
His views were echoed by some on social media platforms, with others finding it hard to believe that a $1,600 computer would be dragged down by an operating system, suggesting that the problem could be elsewhere.
