The expansion of Feiyang asparagus polyurea project is located in Zhuhai Feiyang factory, with an investment of 140 million yuan to build 5 new production lines and an additional production capacity of 46,000 tons/year, including: 20,000 tons/year diethyl maleate (DEM), 20,000 tons/year of low-free asparagus polyurea resin, 5,000 tons/year of low-free isocyanate curing agent, 01,000 tons/year of ketoimine and public works (supporting projects), etc.

According to Tian Changhai, executive director of Zhuhai Feiyang, the project will first build a 20,000 tons/year diethyl maleate (DEM) production line and public works, which will start construction in May 2023 and trial production in October, 20,000 tons/year of low-free asparagus polyurea resin will start construction in July 2023 and trial production in April 2024, and a production line of low-free isocyanate curing agent and ketoimide will start construction in December 2023 and trial production in April 2024.
Tian Changhai pointed out that the construction of each production line of the project was basically completed within half a year, and successfully entered the trial production stage. The three production lines, which will be put into trial production in April 2024, are expected to be transferred to full-scale production in June. The new project has effectively improved the original production process of asparagus resin, realized the fully automated production line of raw materials from the tank farm to the production equipment and to the finished product packaging, reduced the number of employees by 50% compared with the original production line, and doubled the per capita output value. At the same time, the product design index of the new production line has been comprehensively upgraded, which can directly produce high-purity bio-based asparagus polyurea resin, making the asparagus polyurea resin production line further intelligent, environmentally friendly and high-quality, and after the new production line is put into operation, it will effectively promote the further improvement of the industry standard of asparagus polyurea resin.
