In order to deeply cherish the memory of the revolutionary martyrs, carry forward the spirit of patriotism, and further strengthen the effectiveness of theme education and party history learning and education, the party branch of Shiqiao Primary School in Shangrao City carefully organized a red party spirit education activity. The event was held on the afternoon of April 17, with the participation of party members, development targets, party activists and representatives of the Young Pioneers, and was held at the former site of Zhoutian Prison in Zhoutian Village, Maojialing Street, Xinzhou District, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province.
"I volunteer to join the Communist Party of China, support the party's program, and abide by the party's constitution......" All party members faced the party flag and reviewed the oath of joining the party. The sonorous, sincere and firm oath strengthens the determination to be loyal to the party and fulfill its responsibilities for the party.
Under the guidance of the narrator, I watched seven parts during the visit, including the black curtain of purgatory, General Ye Ting, the red flag of the black prison, the fire of the iron window, rushing out of the cage, the tragedy of Wuyi, and the succession of the former servants. In these seven parts, it is embodied that the communists secretly formed the party branch, united, educated, and led the vast number of revolutionary aspirants to carry out an unyielding, heroic and tragic struggle against the Kuomintang gendarmerie spies who exterminated human nature, composed a righteous song of the proletariat that ran through Changhong, and sang "What is the fear of corporal torture, and how to restore and struggle again in a few days," "The heroic spirit will last forever, and the heart will be eternal, and the future generations will not finish the matter, and leave it to future generations to make up for it," impassioned, and regard death as home.
Nearly 200 outstanding Communist Party members, cadres of the New Fourth Army, and their patriots have sacrificed their precious lives, and their lofty patriotic spirit, unyielding revolutionary will, and firm communist conviction will always deserve our remembrance and study.
The party members visited the exhibition halls of various revolutionary deeds in turn, remembered the revolutionary process and immortal achievements of the martyrs' hard struggle, and expressed their highest respect.
After the end of the red activity on the former site of Shangrao Zhoutian Prison, the cry of the revolutionary ancestors has been echoing in my mind, "the heroic spirit will last forever, the heart will remain eternal, the future is not over, and it will be left to the descendants", and it has not been calm for a long time. The indomitable national integrity displayed by these martyrs and patriots in prison is worthy of our descendants' admiration and study.
As members of the Communist Party, we must not forget our original aspirations, keep our mission firmly in mind, remember the revolutionary history, learn the revolutionary spirit, and pass on this red spirit.
