Relying on the "OEM" for Weilai, JAC Motors earned 3.038 billion yuan from Weilai in 5 years from 2018 to 2022, including manufacturing expenses and loss compensation.

After all, OEM is not a long-term solution, and the road of OEM of new forces is only a phased arrangement, not only because the OEM has its own vehicle brand, it is difficult to isolate conflicts of interest.

Li Bin, chairman of NIO, has revealed that if NIO's cars are completely manufactured by itself, manufacturing costs will continue to drop by 10%.

It is reported that JAC and NIO will continue to cooperate, but at present, the cooperation will not be in the foundry, but in other fields, such as in the field of battery swapping.

At present, NIO has launched as many as 8 models on the market, but monthly sales have not improved much.

As a high-end luxury brand, the price of NIO vehicles is very high, even exceeding BBA, but the main reason for losing so much money per car is that NIO is too good at burning money.
