1. You are a writer with a lot of books and a high literary status in the group of writers in Inner Mongolia, have you been writing in recent years?
I'll answer the first question first, which is that as a writer, twenty years ago, I wrote a lot of things, including my novels. However, the creation at that time was different from the current creation, and it was at a peak of creation. Later, because I held a position in the unit, I was too busy with work, so I didn't have so much time to create a tome. Only a few short stories and reportage, poems, etc. can be written. After retirement, in the first few years, I engaged in social activities for a few years, and then there was an epidemic for more than three years. Now, I'm starting to get into writing slowly. After all, writers must be writing is the most important thing. In recent years, my creation has not stopped, and I have been creating. However, I may be a little more demanding of myself, and each work must surpass the previous one, and the two I am working on now are both historical themes. I can't take it out casually, I've been writing, the creation is not broken, I write some small poems every day, in my official account, the circle of friends, Weibo everyone can see it. So, the creation is not stopped. Over the years, I have never stopped thinking, observing, and writing.

2. How did you come up with the idea of writing a novel? Is it a talent? How did you embark on the path of creation?
When it comes to my upbringing, it's like this. I was born into a military family, I was born in Guilin, Guangxi. He grew up in Nanjing, and later moved to Inner Mongolia. There are four sisters in us, and I have two younger sisters and a younger brother. I took on the responsibility of caring for them at a very young age. My hobby since I was a child was reading, and when I could connect words into sentences, I started reading big-character books, so when I was in the third grade of elementary school, I started writing poems, but I didn't publish them at that time because I was too young. I remember a teacher asked me, what are your ideals in the future, and I said that my ideal in the future is to be a writer, but in fact, it was a bit exaggerated at that time, I didn't understand what a writer was, but this is deep-rooted. Since I was a child, this thought was a seed in my heart, but then it sprouted.
I have loved reading since I was a child, but at that time there were not so many books, because my father was a military cadre, and there were many military books, and he couldn't read books because of the Cultural Revolution. But it was during that time that I found a book that I could find, and I almost lost my life for a book, and I was very impressed. By the time I was 14 years old, I could read almost all the books I could find in society, including the classics. I am especially fond of history and literature. Later, after the reform and opening up, I read a lot of foreign masterpieces.
And what I really learned was that after I became a police officer at the age of 18, I became a police officer, and it just so happened that the place I was in charge of was the Inner Mongolia Education Publishing House. The reference room of the publishing house has become a treasure trove of my knowledge. I remember that at that time, because I was a police officer, I went to work at eight o'clock every day, but when I went to each house, I got after nine to half past nine. So, in this space. I read books in the reference room of the Education Press, all kinds of books, and at that time, whether it was literary works or cultural encyclopedias, I read more miscellaneous books at that time. In addition to ancient and modern books, I began to read all kinds of miscellaneous books, and I read such books for a total of nine years. This is the accumulation stage of my creation.
3. When was your debut novel published, and do you remember the mood and story at that time?
Reading is accumulation, and I always believe that life is also accumulation, and the real road to literature is inseparable from accumulation. At that time, there was a "writer's building" in my film, and it was in the winter of 1985, when I went into Odesl's house in the writer's building to check my household registration, the old writer Odessl and the poet Jia Man were chatting. When they saw me, they asked her about the state of public order, and I told them truthfully. Suddenly, Odesl asked me, "Girl, what other ideals do you have besides being a policeman?" They burst out laughing, especially Jia Man, who asked me, "Can you write a poem to show me?" and I replied that I had been writing hundreds of poems since I was in the third grade. Jia Man was very surprised when he heard this, and asked me to go home and show it to him immediately.
I took all the poems and handed them to the poet Jia Man. After Jia Man read the poem carefully, he said to me with a smile: "Your poem is very well written. However, I think if you write a novel, you will definitely develop more than a poem. ”
I'm confused. I don't know how the poet Jia Man saw the potential of writing novels in his poems. With their encouragement, I returned home and stayed up all night to write a novel, "A Mother's Hope," based on the love-hate feelings of a delinquent teenager's mother for her son. The next day, the novel of only 3,000 words was sent to Jia Man. He was very happy when he read it, and said that my novels have more aura than poetry, and they can even be published in magazines. Half a year later, the novel was finally published in Prairie magazine, and I was delighted.
From the time I published my first novel, my literary dreams were ignited. At that time, everyone was pursuing pure literature, and I wanted to write some pure literature at that time.
Fourth, some people say that a writer should write about what he is most familiar with and how you do it
At that time, people were either particularly optimistic about this legal literature and detective novels, or they were a little underestimated. But at that time, my mentor and his wife, Hu Xiaowei of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Yu Hongsheng, a professor at the China Public Security University, instructed me to write, and if I wanted to write, I should write about the life I was familiar with.
The police are in contact with a large society, and although there are only a few thousand people at most, these thousands of people are distributed throughout the society and all strata, and I can learn about the society through this window.
Being a film police officer has given me a wealth of material, which is the source and motivation of my creation. In the past few years, he has published the novel "Light of the Heart", which focuses on a young woman who has no money to go to college but can stand on her own and become self-reliant, "Rain Curtain", a novel on the theme of family ethics and children's education, and "Melting Snow", which focuses on the theme of a child police helping and educating young people who break the law. I remember that when I was writing "The Light of the Heart", the old writer Punsk was the editor-in-chief of the editorial department of "Prairie", and he wrote a dense two-page page in his revisions. I was very touched by the encouragement and opinions in it. I still keep these two pages in my keeping. Whenever I feel impetuous, I will take it out and read it, take a look, and return myself to a calm and objective state of mind.
In 1990, there was a particularly big case in Inner Mongolia, this case. The main culprit is called Park Jae-geun who killed people with a gun. Because of this incident, I was seconded from the police station to the Hohwa Public Security Bureau to write propaganda reports, which was done at that time. So I wrote a reportage and published it in the People's Public Security Daily, which was a great deal at that time. Since then, I have gained a little bit of fame in the national public security.
During that period, I published my first children's collection, which included reportage, and communications, and the public security department, the Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Writers' Association, and many writers, who gave me a seminar together, which was really unforgettable for me. I am indeed grateful. It's really an inspiration to me, but now it seems that a lot of those things are not works, but it's a gas station, and I have the confidence to be a writer.
5. How did you become a detective fiction writer?
Through this profession, I learned about all aspects of society in an all-round way, and accumulated materials and materials for my later detective fiction writing. More importantly, I have a deep understanding of what a police officer is and what a people's police is. It was this profession that set me on the path of writing detective novels.

When the first full-length detective novel "Blood Image" was completed, it was because much thought was spent on the storyline as much as on portraying several policemen led by the "drunken cat detective".
The smart and clever "drunken cat", the "ghost monkey" with crooked ideas, and the "Ma Leizi" who explode at one point, although each of them is not the most perfect policeman in people's eyes, they are all the cutest policemen without exception. It's the comrades-in-arms who live and work so truly. They have so many unsatisfactory things, but they can sacrifice everything and even their lives for the profession of police at any time without hesitation. The first novel is based on a very famous case that happened in Hohhot. I won't talk about this specific case.
In 1998, my detective novel "Blood Image" was serialized in Hunan "Contemporary Police". With the serialization, the circulation of "Contemporary Police" has been climbing. The work was published by the People's Publishing House and has been published several times in several publishing houses.
It was this detective novel "Blood" that made me famous overnight. In the "First National Detective Novel Competition" in the second year, "Blood Image" stood out among the hundreds of works that participated in the evaluation, and was unanimously affirmed by many judges such as Deng Youmei, Miao Junjie, Li Guowen, Cong Weixi, Su Shuyang, etc., and was awarded the second prize of the New Work Award, and the first prize was vacant.
After "Blood Image", I wrote "Mother-in-law", "Stunning Color", "Butterfly Transformation", "Drunken Cat Detective Series" and other long-form detective novels, all of which have a common protagonist "Drunken Cat", the imperfect but witty and brave detective. This made me a nationally known detective novelist. It was when others were still publishing books at their own expense, and my manuscripts were in short supply, and it was such a state at that time.
6. The public security system is busy with work, and you are a housewife, how do you see the relationship between life, career and writing, and when is your creation?
There is no conflict between my profession and writing, it is my gas station, but the time I use is amateur, what about the working hours, I am a good cop. You can see that I have won so many awards, you will know, I have made so many contributions, it didn't fall from the sky, and I am really a very good film policeman, to be honest, who was in trouble at that time, I must have come to the scene as soon as I greeted him, it is like this, this is not a conflict.
Besides, what about the family, my son, he is quite guilty, we sometimes can't take care of it, sometimes there are contradictions between the police station and the people, but there are many times, the police can't do without the people, and the people can't do without the police. So, I want to create some righteous and courageous characters in literary and artistic works and literary works, because of them, I have written reportage, and after it is finished, it has become a reportage, and finally it has become a TV series, and all of my have been broadcast on several channels of CCTV, so I also think, I think it is worthy of my literary creation, so over the years, more than 10 million words. It's handwritten, and the hard work can be imagined. As for my husband, he became the head of the police station when he was very young. Moreover, he is a heroic model, so I can't control him, he can't control me, it's not that he can't control it, it can't be controlled, and they can't control each other. I think that as long as you want to do it, there is no conflict between career and creation, they complement each other, and you will find a lot of happiness in it.
I have participated in the Writers' Congress and the Literary Congress several times, won the Virtue and Art Shuangxin Award, and was elected vice chairman of the Inner Mongolia Writers Association. The pie didn't fall from the sky. In the past ten years, there have been many official activities, which have also had an impact on creation, but unfortunately where has the time gone, I don't know, anyway, I am busy with work, I can't have both, as far as I am concerned, I have been a policeman for so long. I think it's good that I can still be a writer, and I'm a person who always needs a goal.
7. There is a collection of essays, why is it called the Burning Sun Stone?
Burning sun stone, why is it called burning sun stone, some people call coal sun stone. Because although it is ordinary, it is warm, it can shine, it is warm, it is warm, it is dazzling. You can also refine and make steel, I think it's really vivid, and I think there are a lot of characters who are really like the sun, and like the sun stone, they shine and warm everything.
Do things in a high-profile manner and be a low-key person. I can't call it a motto, but it's my bottom line. I've written before that I'm a person who prefers one kind of insect, which is the earthworm. You look at it, and every time you go first, you shrink back, but it's always moving forward. Silent, but able to loosen the soil, to make the soil fertile, to grow towering trees. So, just quietly, silently live like an earthworm, in fact, this is not a bit of a conflict with the sun stone, but what, earthworms have earthworm living methods.
The sun stone has the presence of the sun stone, it is bright, illuminates others, and also warms others. What about earthworms? Silent hard work, silent cultivation, I think every writer should do this.

8. You are the founder of the Inner Mongolia Popular Literature and Art Research Association, and your old friends are talking about your contributions?
The establishment of the Inner Mongolia General Research Association is like this, in 96 years, I held a meeting in Beijing, that is, the China Popular Literature and Art Research Association, and the leaders found me. Tell me, can you set up a branch in Inner Mongolia, and when I came back, I went to the Inner Mongolia Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the executive vice chairman at that time Haswula was still in office, and I hit it off. It just so happened that the Chinese Popular Literature and Art Research Association was going to hold a council, and I came to Inner Mongolia to hold it, and I organized it, and by the way, we also held an inaugural meeting. In fact, there are several stubble people, and the hard work of several stubble people is in it, and it does not mean that one person or two people can do it. It is unimaginable that the popular literature and art research society will become popular to that extent. But now this club is persisting in surviving, which is good, and then those people now do their best, I think they are all doing well, although I don't participate in many activities.
