Blue warning for heavy rain
The Mingshan District Meteorological Observatory of Ya'an City issued a blue warning for heavy rain at 16:30 on April 17, 2024: It is expected that heavy rain (30-40mm) will prevail in our district from this evening to tomorrow daytime, and there will be (50-80mm) in Qianjin Town, Mengdingshan Town, Yongxing Street, Mengyang Street and other towns (streets). The heavy precipitation period is between 22 and 05 o'clock, and the maximum hourly rainfall intensity can reach 20-40mm. The process may be accompanied by thunder and lightning and gusty winds of magnitude 4-6.
