Shenzhen News Network, April 17, 2024 (Reporter Weng Renying, Correspondent Huang Junsheng) From April 15 to May 5, the 135th China Import and Export Fair (hereinafter referred to as the "Canton Fair"), China's first exhibition, was held in Guangzhou. According to the statistics of the Huanggang Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station, from April 12 to 14, a total of nearly 700,000 people entered and exited through the two ports, of which only 4,400 foreign passengers entered the country.
In order to ensure the safe and smooth customs clearance of merchants from all over the world who came to participate in the exhibition, the station took multiple measures to improve its professional service capabilities, opened sufficient channels, and specially arranged police officers who are proficient in small languages and fluent in foreign languages to serve as front patrol guidance positions to ensure the efficiency of customs clearance for exhibitors from all over the world.
