Since April, the temperature has risen sharply, the snow and ice have melted rapidly, and some sections of the road in our banner have formed spring flood "peach blossom water", and there have been different degrees of water damage. The spring flood led to the flooding of the road surface at K375 of the S307 line, the roadbed was damaged, and the water damage was interrupted, the approach road of the Wirtgen Bridge from Yiminhe Town to the source town of the X355 line was damaged by water, and the shoulders of some sections of the Y010 line and Y004 line were damaged to varying degrees. In order to ensure the safety and smoothness of roads in rural and pastoral areas of our banner, the Banner Transportation Development Center seized the time, acted as soon as possible, and organized maintenance and rescue personnel and machinery and equipment to quickly carry out the work of rushing through water damage.
In view of the potential safety hazards found, the emergency plan was launched as soon as possible, the maintenance personnel were organized to check the drainage situation on site, the dredging and drainage operations were quickly carried out, and the shoulders were repaired and treated to the greatest extent to minimize the impact of spring snow melt on the highway subgrade, and the shoulders and culverts damaged by water were repaired by irrigation and other methods. At the same time, it works closely with the traffic police department to carry out traffic diversion and control, reminds passing vehicles to slow down by setting up safety warning signs, and arranges personnel to be stationed to ensure the safety and smooth flow of roads in the jurisdiction.
The Transportation Bureau of the Ewenki Autonomous Banner will pay close attention to the weather conditions, increase road inspections, continue to carry out the investigation and rectification of potential road safety hazards during the Spring Thaw period, and make every effort to ensure the safe and smooth flow of the highway during the Spring Thaw period, so as to create a good highway environment for the masses to travel safely.
