At the end of March every year, the peach blossoms of Nyingchi in Tibet bloom. Along the Yarlung Zangbo River and the Niyang River Basin, under the reflection of the snow-capped mountains, the wild peach blossoms all over the mountains bloom one after another, competing for beauty. At present, the number of wild peach trees in Nyingchi is more than 3 million, and the viewing period is nearly 2 months. As of this year, Nyingchi has held 21 sessions of the Peach Blossom Tourism and Culture Festival. The Nyingchi Peach Blossom Festival has become the "golden business card" of Nyingchi and even Tibet tourism.
This year, the Nyingchi Peach Blossom Festival was full of wonderful activities, including the "Peach Blossom Spring Banquet" food experience, the "Peach Blossom Gift" special product market and the "Peach Blossom" art co-creation, as well as singing and dancing performances, Peach Blossom Music Festival, Peach Blossom Theme Photography Exhibition, Peach Blossom Highway Love Letters, Tourist Interaction and other activities, which further enriched the immersive experience products while showing Nyingchi's unique tourism resources. Since late March, the number of tourist arrivals in Nyingchi has increased significantly. According to the data, in the three days of the 21st Peach Blossom Festival, Nyingchi received 229,200 tourists and achieved a tourism income of 127 million yuan.
Not only Nyingchi, but also Lhasa, Shannan, Shigatse, Nagqu and other cities also have patches of wild peach forests. At the end of March and the beginning of April, peach blossoms bloom one after another, and there is an endless stream of tourists to enjoy the flowers and check in. Various localities have made use of local peach blossom resources to hold cultural and tourism activities such as flower appreciation, setting off a tourism boom in Tibet in spring, and the flower-viewing economy exudes fragrance on the plateau.
