The installation of elevators in existing residences is the desire of the people and the expectations of the people. A few days ago, Building 64-67 of Rucuiyuan Residential Area, Caohejing Street, Xuhui District, completed the signing of the elevator contract, which will benefit 32 residents in 4 corridors.
The residential area of Rucuiyuan is dominated by middle-aged and elderly residents, and it becomes more and more difficult to go up and down the stairs as they get older. The ground floor and the second floor of buildings 64-67 are all shops, and after reaching the third floor through the same staircase, they are dispersed to each building, and the stairs on these two floors are much higher than the stairs of other buildings in the community, so the desire of residents to add ladders is stronger.
The general party branch of Rucuiyuan residential area attaches great importance to the needs of residents, and invites the construction party and designers to conduct on-site surveys and repeated demonstrations, but the plan of "installing an elevator in each building" does not work. After repeated research and discussion, it was finally decided that the four buildings would share an elevator, and the elevator would only run from the ground to the platform on the third floor to solve part of the needs of residents.
Although the escalation plan has been formed, the needs and concerns of the 32 households in these four buildings, young residents and elderly residents, especially the members of the escalation team and the safety of the fund account, it is very difficult to reach a consensus. The general party branch of Rucuiyuan residential area has organized more than 10 hearings, coordination meetings and appraisal meetings for party members and team leaders of 4 buildings. The 4 representatives of the elevator team were open and honest, announced their room numbers, contact information, etc., and also established a WeChat exchange group of 32 households, using the combination of "law" and "reason" to explain to residents from various technical perspectives of elevator installation. In response to the questions raised by the residents, the relevant departments gave professional answers, and actively listened to the opinions and suggestions of the residents, eliminated the concerns of the residents in a timely manner, and ensured that the elevator was "understood and assured".
In the end, 32 residents of 4 buildings collectively signed the contract for the ladder, and everyone's wish to add the ladder was finally realized.
